Crowdfunding - What is it?

Crowdfunding enables organisations and businesses to raise funds to finance projects and is becoming a more and more common way of social enterprises raising funds due to the reduction in grant funding streams over the last couple of years.

A number of funders have also diversified some of their funding streams to incorporate the need for social enterprises to crowdfund as a way of match funding.
