South Soup Dragon

Think Dragon’s Den but friendlier! Our aim is to use the energy, innovation and creativity our community groups bring to Doncaster by giving all community organisations and residents the chance to bring something special to their local area. The Soup Dragon is aimed at local community groups who need a small amount of funding to get going, grow and flourish or deliver a specific project or activities. Each month, for a 12 month period there will one successful applicant, voted for by residents, who will be awarded up to £2,500 and two small runners awards.

Residents pay £2.00 to attend and support their local community organisations. This includes soup and a roll during autumn and winter and a buffet during spring and summer months.
